As filmmakers we've always been intrigued by the magic of the flare. That sudden moment of unexpected light, lost in the camera. But caught on film. The extra effect that you could not have foreseen. The photo that you made while thinking of another.

We are all capable of catching these moments of magic. Once we have found the right surroundings, the right circumstance. And push that button. That`s what Flare Film is all about.

As a production company we represent a variety of visual artists. We thought it would be a good idea to integrate that in our web design, by asking photographers on flickr to supply us with flare pictures. The outcome was overwhelming. By now hundreds of participants sent us their photo`s. Great photos. Images from all over the world that show an astonishing panorama of worldwide everyday life, caught in that magic moment.

Since we got so much response and so many photo`s we figured it best to have them slide by on our website. To show as many pictures as we can. And give room and credit to all participants. If you want to see more of their work please click on their thumbnails.
